About Al-Habib

Al-Habib Onifade, the expert behind DevTV Academy, is an economic development specialist with particular interest in adapting entrepreneurial tools and techniques to economic development. He has worked in senior and advisory capacity in countries like; Uganda, Kenya, United Kingdom, South Africa, Australia, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Nigeria, managing or advising projects implemented by; Adam Smith International, Palladium Group, PwC UK, DAI Europe, Mercy Corps, DT Global; worked in projects funded by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID) and Australian Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

He created a MicroConsultancy Firm called Ideas2riches which specialises in providing affordable, online and offline, professional services and mentorship programs to MSMEs across developing countries, particularly in Africa. Most of these services is based on ideas2riches own Software-as-a-Service System called verido.

He is a recognized market systems development and making market work for the poor (M4P) expert with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Master of Science in Corporate and International Finance from the University of Durham, United Kingdom. In addition, he has done two Springfield Centre’s Making Markets Work for the Poor (M4P) courses. One in in Glasgow, Scotland and their M$D measurement course in Dubai, United Arab Emirate. He also completed the DCED course in Bangkok, Thailand. .
